Avinash Pathania — Editor & Publisher

Avinash Pathania is the Editor & Publisher of HighOnCity, published by Power Brand Ca. He oversees the publication's editorial standards, publishing policies and editorial direction across its six city desks.

He began his professional career in media at Planman Media in New Delhi and later worked as a Product Manager at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where his work included educational product development and collaboration with publishing and institutional partners.

He subsequently founded and led the Indian Federation for Fashion Development, where he worked on fashion events, media, brand partnerships and industry initiatives, including India Runway Week.

His professional work has included collaborations with brands and organisations including BMW, Versace, Ted Baker and Casio, as well as digital distribution partnerships involving ZEE5.

Avinash holds a B.Sc. in Information Technology and an MBA. He is based in Vancouver and is the founder of Power Brand Ca., the publisher of HighOnCity.

He founded HighOnCity in 2026 to provide local news, context and city information across six Canadian cities.
