Cloverdale Market Days returns to downtown Cloverdale on Saturday, June 27, marking the second of five seasonal festivals planned for 2026.
The all-day event—running 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 176th Street between 56A Avenue and 58th Avenue—will feature the maximum number of vendors the organizers can accommodate, with a significantly expanded food truck area.
"We are going to expand our food truck area to allow for 14 food vendors—such an assortment of tastes to nibble on," said Paige Hardy, president of the Cloverdale Arts and Entertainment Association. "Hopefully our community shows up and brings their appetite."
The inaugural May festival drew strong community turnout. "So many neighbours from our Cloverdale community joined us for our first market and the feedback and comments on our social media was amazing," Hardy said. New vendors included a local candle maker whose work caught the eye of a nearby flower shop, which now carries the line.
June 27 will feature caricature artist Ted Couling offering free drawings from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the food court. CAEA has arranged three busking zones for live musicians—one in front of Michaud's, one in front of Mason's, and one in front of The Henry.
"This is such a fun family-friendly day to celebrate everything Cloverdale," Hardy said. "Bring your market bags and buy your local fruits and veggies, enjoy the local breads and goodies, fill that market bag with treats for you and your loved ones."
The CAEA booth will have information for attendees. Remaining market dates for 2026 are July 25, August 22, and September 12.
