Fin, the Vancouver Canucks' mascot for 25 years, has been named a finalist for the Mascot Hall of Fame.

The whale mascot is one of eleven nominees vying for induction in the 2026 class. The Mascot Hall of Fame inducts between two and six mascots annually. Only three NHL mascots have achieved Hall of Fame status to date: SJ Sharkie (San Jose Sharks), Youppi! (Montreal Canadiens), and Tommy Hawk (Chicago Blackhawks).

Fin has been played by the same person since the mascot's introduction in 2001, appearing in more than 1,000 Canucks games across regular season and playoffs. The character has become a fixture at both matches and special events throughout the city.

Fans can vote for their favorite mascot up to twice daily through the Mascot Hall of Fame website until July 26. The 2026 inductees are expected to be announced the week of August 3.
