RCMP searching for two teens after assault outside Spruce Grove convenience store

Update — August 01, 2026: Two Devon residents have been arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm in connection with an assault on July 8 at a school on Michigan Avenue in Devon: a 17-year-old male and 21-year-old Dalan Newdorf, both scheduled to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Leduc on September 11, 2026. One of the two victims sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are seeking information from other individuals believed to have been present at the scene.
Alberta RCMP are searching for two teens following an assault outside a convenience store in Spruce Grove on July 15 around 7:37 p.m.
The victim, a teen, and a friend were outside the store near Spruce Village Drive W when they were approached by two known teens who allegedly struck the victim while she was sitting on the sidewalk. The victim suffered minor injuries.
The suspects fled when a witness drove toward the incident. One suspect has been described as 15 to 17 years old with a slim build and shoulder-length hair. She was wearing grey sweatpants, a black jacket with a hood pulled over her head, and a backpack.
The second suspect is described as 15 to 17 years old with a slim build and shoulder-length brown hair. She was wearing a large purple or burgundy t-shirt and long black shorts.
