Motorists face a major weekend closure: Highway 15 northbound (Décarie) will shut down from Friday, August 28 at 10:30 p.m. through Monday, August 31 at 5 a.m. for repairs to the Des Jockeys and Ferrier Street overpasses.
The closure runs between Exit No. 69 (Jean-Talon) and the entrance from Paré Street. The entrance from Édouard-Montpetit Boulevard to Highway 15 northbound will also close during this period. The Samuel De Champlain Bridge will be closed northbound toward Montreal at the same time.
Significant traffic congestion is expected. The Ministry of Transport recommends allowing extra travel time and consulting Québec 511 to plan routes. Temporary signage will mark detour routes. Work may be postponed, extended, or cancelled due to weather or operational constraints.
